These days we have to find tools that allow us to maintain our healthy lifestyle without interrupting our busy day to day lives. Which brings me to today’s delicious green smoothie made with broccoli, banana, walnuts, and collagen. 

At the end of this recipe, I will fill you in on why these ingredients are so special. So, be sure not to miss out!

Rejuvenating, Energizing Smoothie

  • 1 glass of whole milk or water 
  • 1/2 a frozen banana
  • 1/3 cup of broccoli 
  • 3 walnuts
  • 1 tbsp of collagen powder 


  1. Place all the ingredients into the blender.

  2. Blend for about 3 to 5 minutes or until you get your desired texture. 

  3. Pour it into a glass and it’s ready to serve! If you’d like to give it an extra special touch you can add some crushed walnuts on top.

Off-Road Shake


This recipe gives us the chance to take advantage of in-season food: broccoli. I love ideas that allow us to use food that is readily available, more economical, and whose nutritional quality and organic characteristics are better and fresher. Plus, we are being more environmentally friendly when we shop and eat this way. 

Broccoli is a low-calorie food, but it’s rich in nutrients such as vitamin C, which helps to better synthesize collagen in our body. Excellent for helping us stay young! 



To get that boost of energy, we’ve incorporated into this recipe some banana which is rich in carbohydrates, and walnuts which are an excellent source of healthy fats. Giving us a dynamic caloric intake.

Without a doubt, the star ingredient in this recipe has to be collagen!

I will go into more detail about this wonderful ingredient in another post, but let me just say that it’s great for regenerating cartilage and helps to prevent wear and tear on the joints, reduces discomfort, and accelerates the healing process. It’s not only great for our joints but our skin too. All of which not only helps us to feel younger but look younger as well!
