Grilled Pulled Pork Súper Burguer

Estimated reading time: 1 minute(s)

Pulled Pork is surely the most tender, juicy and delicious meat filling I’ve ever tasted, it practically melts in your mouth. If you’re not sure what I’m talking about, then today- International Burger Day is the perfect day for you to get to work and experiment with this mega burger. It is the perfect main dish for any picnic!

Fast Pulled Pork

Is basically pork meat cooked at a low temperature for hours then shredded and marinated in sauce. I’m sure you’ve seen this style burger at some American restaurants, although it has recently become more popular and is becoming easier and easier to find at other restaurants as well.

Today, I’ve brought you a quicker version of this American recipe. It’s especially designed for those of us who don’t have much time to cook. With this recipe, instead of the typical slow cooked method that takes 8 to 9 hours I’ve compacted that into only 80 minutes using a pressure cooker and the result is just as spectacular, I promise!  ?

What to pair with your burger to make it a 10/10 dish

Pulled pork is marinated in different ways, depending on the area of where you live in the United States, although the most common is a barbecue-type sauce.

In my particular version, I have opted for a tomato sauce that I often make at home. It’s a staple for my family that you can always find in our fridge. Not only is it good for this recipe but it is a great addition to many kinds of dishes, I encourage you to have fun and experiment with it yourself! Trust me, it becomes addictive. ?

Undoubtedly for me though, what makes this burger perfect is the touch of avocado (of course) and…

Halloumi cheese

I’ve been adding this to all my dishes lately! This cheese is from Cyprus and is perfect for grilling. It is so simple, you just flip it over on each side and you get a lovely consistent cheese that is golden on the outside, elastic and tender on the inside and best of all it doesn’t melt!

This cheese takes the pulled pork hamburger to another level not only does it add an extra layer of texture but also gives it a salty, fresh and unmistakable flavor.
