Preheat the oven to 180°;
Mix the butter, egg, and vanilla together in a bowl;
Next add the flour and baking powder and mix until a dough forms;
Take small portions of the dough and roll into a ball slightly flatten leaving a hole in the middlefor the filling, place the nut cream filling into the hole and then roll back into a ball.
Space the balls out on a baking tray (with wax paper for esy cleanup) and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
