Ingredients

  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 1 tomato for the salad
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 4 slices gluten-free bread

For the chicken:

  • 1 tbsp olive olive
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp turmeric
  • 1 tbsp paprika

For the yogurt sauce:

  • 1 pack natural yogurt
  • 3 tbsp homemade mayo
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 lemon
  • Finely chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Start with the chicken. Marinate the chicken breasts in olive oil, garlic, cumin, turmeric and paprika. You can do this a couple of hours before to let all the seasonings really set in.

  2. Meanwhile, mix the yogurt, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, garlic, lemon and parsley together. Set aside and place in the refrigerator.

  3. Next, fry the chicken breasts in a frying pan and then cut the cooked chicken into strips.

  4. Slice the bread carefully down the middle so that you don’t completely separate the two sides (that way the ingredients can go inside).

  5. Stuff the bread with the chicken, onion, tomato, and lettuce.

  6. Spread, pour or dip the yogurt sauce on top to your liking.
