Total Time 15 minutes
Servings 2 people

Ingredients

  • 2 frozen Bananas
  • 50 gr diced Papaya
  • 4 Figs
  • 7 Macadamia Nuts
  • 100 ml water
  • 2 tbsp Vanilla-flavored Protein Powder

Instructions

  1. Take the frozen bananas, cut them into smaller pieces, and place them in the mixer. If your blender is not powerful enough to crush ice, choose to do everything at refrigerator temperature and add ice at the end.

  2. Make sure to wash the figs, then add the cleaned figs and chopped papaya (remember to remove all the seeds and the skin), the macadamia nuts, the vegan vanilla protein powder, and the water to the mixer glass.

  3. Blend everything together for a couple of minutes, until everything is crushed and you get a light but creamy texture.

Notes

Don’t forget that it’s important to use some kind of frozen fruit when making a smoothie. Bananas are a good option as they are a great addition to almost any smoothie recipe that calls for something sweet. Plus it gives your drink a wonderful texture.

Chef’s trick: Serve the smoothie in a glass using a cut fig and a tablespoon of natural nut cream to top it all off, and make it look extra stunning. Almond, hazelnut, cashew, or peanut would go great in this particular smoothie. The texture and flavor will make it stand out and you won’t have any trouble enjoying this antioxidant smoothie to the end.
