Broccoli Puree

Broccoli Puree

Ingredients

  • 2 medium heads of Broccoli
  • 1 tbsp superfoods
  • pinch salt
  • pinch Pepper
  • 2 tbsp melted Butter
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Milk

Instructions

  1. To make your Broccoli Puree, start by boiling some water with a pinch of salt over medium to high heat. When the water starts to boil, place the diced Broccoli in the pot and let boil for about 8 minutes until the Broccoli softens. Drain immediately and then spread it out on a tray for it to cool off and dry.

  2. Meanwhile, heat the milk with the melted butter in a small saucepan.

  3. In a blender or food processor blend the milk mixture with the cooled off broccoli pieces ( you will have to do this in parts depending on the size of your processor/blender)

  4. Pour the Broccoli Puree in a bowl and season with salt.

  5. Once the Broccoli Puree is ready to serve, season with a little salt and pepper then serve.

Notes

This is ideal an ideal Vegetarian side dish to serve with a piece of Chicken, Salmon, or Tofu.
