HOW TO GAIN MUSCLE A HEALTHY WAY

We are all different. Each one of us has a different metabolism and physical characteristics. We are not all affected by diet and exercise the same. Many times, when people think of a diet, they automatically think weight loss. Well, there are actually many people who want to gain weight and / or muscle mass rather than lose weight and a diet is necessary for them as well due to their metabolism.

Gaining weight doesn’t mean gorging on processed sugars and carbohydrates. That will only make your body feel fatigued and heavy and of course increase body fat, not muscle mass. On the contrary, you can gain weight and muscle mass in a progressive and healthy way, from an active lifestyle and diet that is in line with what your body needs.

Healthy habits that are based on living and following a natural lifestyle will help you achieve your body’s natural weight without any effort. Just as some people are taller and some are shorter, the same is true with each of our physiques. That is why we must learn to recognize what type of physique we have and accept ourselves as we are. Of course, we can lose weight or gain weight depending on what our goal is, but it will always be according to the natural physical shape of our body.

I want to clarify that being healthy and strong is more important than obsessing over the physical appearance of our muscles. If we take a look at the gyms, we will often find people with visibly large muscles, but who at the moment of truth hardly have real strength. There are also very strong people who, due to their physique, don’t have much muscle mass.Again everyone is different. 

The good news is that you can gain weight without giving up a healthy natural lifestyle and physical exercise. Being in shape will help us gain muscle mass in and of itself. Eating meat, fish and eggs, and other good protein, will not only help us to regenerate our muscles from the natural wear and tear, but it will also help the muscles to become much more pronounced when we train, as we gradually increase our portion sizes.  

Also eating carbs that come from natural sources such as bananas, raisins, plums, squash, beets and carrots will help our body to make our muscles even bigger. It’s very important that you eat several times a day, around 3 to 5 meals a day. It’s likely that if you or people you know don’t gain weight it is usually caused by your metabolism processing food very quickly, and expending a lot of energy. Therefore, you should eat more food that provides your body with the energy they need.

It’s important to eat foods rich in protein and natural carbohydrates(not to be confused with processed hydrates such as pastries) and/or fats before and after doing physical activities to replace what we have lost while exercising and to increase our caloric consumption per day

Of course it goes without saying, for those who suffer from illnesses such as hypothyroidism, irritable bowel syndrome or others in which weight is seriously lost, they should see their doctor and be treated by specialists who study their particular case.
