Good morning everyone! As the summer is still with us for a bit longer, I’m going to share with you today my recipe for a delicious green smoothie.
This is a great way to keep cool while we still have a few weeks of hot weather. Also, if you’re someone who usually isn’t a fan of green smoothies due to their bitter taste, have no fear! This green smoothie uses banana as a natural sweetener giving it a much softer and pleasant taste.
Besides the addition of banana in this green smoothie we’ve also enriched it by adding a spoonful of superfoods recovery. Providing us with an extra protein and omega 3 fatty acids. Thanks to the combo of all these ingredients this smoothie has excellent antioxidant power.

Green Smoothie with Superfoods
Ingredients
- 1 spoonful of superfoods recovery
- 1/2 a peach
- 1 banana
- 8 almonds
- 2 heads of broccoli
- 1 handful of arugula
- 1 glass of ice
Instructions

Cut the peach, banana and broccoli into chunks. You can also do this and freeze them the night before.

Add all the ingredients into a blender.

Blend for about 3-5 minutes until no chunks are left and you have a uniform creamy texture.

Pour your mixture into a serving glass of your choice. Top it off with a small piece of broccoli or peach for an added touch.
Notes
You can also crush a few walnuts and sprinkle them on top. That way you can get a crunchy touch with every sip.
