Chicken Nuggets

Nuggets are irresistible let’s face it. They are easy to eat, crunchy, and a favorite among kids. Once again, though we face the problem of usually getting these from a fast-food chain or from the frozen section of our local supermarkets.   

A study published a few years ago in the American Journal of Medicine revealed that processed nuggets have hardly any chicken meat, most of it is made up of capillary vessels, nerves, bones, and viscera. Additionally, they were found to have excessive amounts of saturated fats and sugar. 

Do It Yourself 

For me, the only way to enjoy some delicious chicken nuggets safely is to make them yourself at home. Today, I’ve prepared for you a simple, fun recipe that you can make with the whole family.

I’ve chosen to use chicken breast because it is the leanest part of the chicken with the most protein, and also because the texture is ideal for shredding and mixing with other foods. With this recipe, I’ve e added cheese because it gives it an irresistible juicy touch. 

A Natruly Trick 

I think it is obvious to say that people love the crunch of a good chicken nugget. So I experimented around and decided to try something new by using Beef Jerky snacks to make the batter, and boy did it surprise me

These strips of dried and marinated beef are a great addition to many recipes. I’ve tried adding Beef Jerky to pizzas, salads, and vegetable creams but this experiment has been a true find!  Not only does it give the nuggets more flavor and that wonderful crunch but it’s also a great source of energy and essential amino acids.

Chicken Nuggets

  • 300 gr Chicken Breast
  • 20 gr Parmesan Cheese
  • 40 gr Cream Cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Turmeric

For the Breading:

For the Dipping Sauce:

  • 40 gr Hazelnut Spread
  • 45 ml water
  • 15 ml soy Sauce
  • 1 lemon (in juice)
  • honey
  • diced garlic


  1. Shred all the meat ingredients.

  2. Then make small balls with the chicken and dip them in the beaten egg, next in the almond flour, afterward in the egg again. And lastly, dip them in the Beef Jerky.

  3. Fry in a frying pan until golden brown on all sides.

  4. Mix all the ingredients of the dipping sauce until a smooth paste forms and serve alongside the nuggets.


Don’t be afraid to mix up your nuggets by trying one or all of these three Beef Jerky flavors: Original, Peppered, or Spicy. We guarantee you’ll be happy with whatever you choose!
