Chicken Kebab with Gluten-Free Bread and Yogurt Sauce
Ingredients
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 1 tomato for the salad
- 1/2 red onion
- 4 slices gluten-free bread
For the chicken:
- 1 tbsp olive olive
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1 tbsp turmeric
- 1 tbsp paprika
For the yogurt sauce:
- 1 pack natural yogurt
- 3 tbsp homemade mayo
- salt
- pepper
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 lemon
- Finely chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
-
Start with the chicken. Marinate the chicken breasts in olive oil, garlic, cumin, turmeric and paprika. You can do this a couple of hours before to let all the seasonings really set in.
-
Meanwhile, mix the yogurt, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, garlic, lemon and parsley together. Set aside and place in the refrigerator.
-
Next, fry the chicken breasts in a frying pan and then cut the cooked chicken into strips.
-
Slice the bread carefully down the middle so that you don’t completely separate the two sides (that way the ingredients can go inside).
-
Stuff the bread with the chicken, onion, tomato, and lettuce.
-
Spread, pour or dip the yogurt sauce on top to your liking.
